1911-1912: Short-lived
The 1-inch Fourth Edition was the last to use the ‘small’ 18 × 12-mile sheet lines originally drawn up for the 1-inch New Series. The Fourth Edition maps used the survey information from the third national revision of 1909-1910, which was abandoned. Only seven sheets in the series were ever published, covering part of eastern Kent.
The series was superseded by the introduction of the 1-inch Popular Edition.
